| Today we rented a car and drove an hour or so north to Garibaldi Provincial Park where we drove a few thousand feet up a mountain and then hiked a couple hours and another couple thousand feet up through evergreen forests to a sub-alpine heather meadow with fantastic views of neighboring Mt. Garibaldi and various snow-capped mountains of the coastal mountain range - "Sea to Sky Country". Had picnic lunch and returned. |
